Where to Get Wagyu Beef Austin
1. Uchiko
Shockingly fresh, very very delicious sushi. Fantastic sake list. I love the wagyu beef seared on japanese river rocks.
Come. Now. Bring the amex. Make it a night to remember. The staff will help you find awesome selections. one of which must be the wagyu.
i had my bday dinner here and it was lovely. the menu is extensive so if i had to chose...my favorites: the hot rock (sear your own wagyu beef), scallop sushi, and fried milk dessert. skip the rolls.
2. Uchi
Japanese food in Texas may seem like a joke but you can't front when it comes to their hot rock option. Literally its 'sear it yourself' wagyu with the best ponzu sauce this side of the Mississippi
Sea bass crudo, scallops and wagyu on a hot stone, salmon on melon with skir, hirame = yum.
I had amazing raw fish, wagyu beef fried on hot rocks, a wonderful coconut cocktail and top service overall.
3. Soto - South Lamar
Underrated in the 7's. Def in the mid 8's range. Solid alternative sushi to when Uchi is full. Chili hamachi, wagyu dumplings r great. Would skip tamago and salmon sashimi. Nay to mezcal cocktail
So good, I've been 3 times in one month. The foie gras nigiri – stop reading this & eat it NOW. WOW. The torched toro truffle elegant, wagyu roll is intoxicating. Great saki & atmosphere. A++
Everything is FANTASTIC here. Finally someone can compete with Uchi's. It is not a cheap place, but worth every penny. Go try it. The dragon maki roll was to delish!!!
4. drink.well.

5. Haru
Yummy sushi and some different offerings than other spots in town. The shishito were not great. The fish was awesome. Wagyu was fantastic.
Order the Hanabi Tower!! Delicious. Really fresh seafood recommend the yellowtail sashimi.
Ambience and quality rolls. Interesting appetizers
Masago, seared wagyu beef, crunchy roll, caterpillar roll, unami oil seared beef, kappa maki, ikura....omg
The Wagyu beef and the noodle dishes are quite good
I love the fun atmosphere and super Japanese rewards and toys for eating. The sushi itself is very pedestrian.
7. Driskill Grill
The wagyu beef tartar is wonderful, topped with a quail egg. evidently the figs are tasty, when Skylar's tree is in season.
Great mimosas along with great service (ask for Lori). I'd recommend sharing, too...big portions so ask for an extra side plate for your late friend.

Classy vibe with delicious Euro-style fare! Love the vibe - perfect date spot. I found this on my new Supper app: http://supper.mx/places/fabi-rosi-austin/
The Wagyu burger is the best! There is a great brisket sandwich here too. Love the beer here!
Amazing views of Lake Travis coupled with good vibes, music, beer and food. Prices are reasonable and well worth the experiences. Try the chorizo queso.
I couldn't be more impressed with Oasis Texas brewing! Fantastic craft beer, food, and service. Way better than the Oasis restaurant next door!!!!
10. MAX's Wine Dive Austin
The Kobe Beef burger is awesome!
Lamb Burger or Kobe Burger. Bison Sliders. Fried Green Tomatoes. Chips. Love this place @rynomite
Ask about the brunch specials. Chicken fried pork chop with jalapeño gravy and grits and a fried egg is excellent.
11. Hopdoddy Burger Bar
"Shogun" special with kobe beef will suffice
American Kobe beef burger!
Everything is good except the gluten-free bun. It falls apart... but the regular bun is fantastic!
12. The Well
Delicious health food anchored to high quality ingredients. Chicken toast, avo toast and wagyu tacos all really good
Kobe Beef Burger with house fries is a must!
Great crab cakes and Sonora salad! Good spot for a casual dinner with friends or family, and watch the giant fork out front as it changes with seasons/holidays a few times a year!
Try the fries. They're the best in town.
Amazing Wagyu burger! Excellent service!
This place ticks off all the boxes: atmosphere, service, food (oh, the steak is simply divine!), and drinks. You'll pay a pretty penny for it, but it is one of the best places in downtown for a steak.
Ask for Michael Hall.
Wagyu Burger
Delicious. The beer cocktails, crudo, and lemon dessert were particularly amazing, super flavorful and refreshing.
Reasonably priced and informal but still very fine dining, indeed. Rising star Ned Elliott's seasonal menu is spare but stunning, with each well-conceived plate coming together in delicious harmony. Read more.
